〔プロジェクト・ルクト：手を取り合って〕

 

 海外で活躍するアーティストが日本の為に立ち上がりました。

 「Project　LUCT」の“LUCT”は、ロック界の巨匠フレディ・マーキ

ュリーの曲「Let us cling together（手を取り合って）」 からの頭文字を取ったものです。

プロジェクト・ルクトは、日本の若手ダンサーやアーティストたちが世界の舞台で活躍できるよう活動します。また、同時に、東日本大震災の被災地にあっても、将来に向けた夢を育み、実現できるように支援します。

2013年7月には、海外在住の現役ダンサーが講師陣を務める６日間のバレエセミナーを開催し、東日本大震災の被災地からの5名の参加者を含む17名の方にご参加を頂きました。本セミナーには、豪州バレエ名門校のタニア・ピアソン・クラシカル・アカデミーからの支援も頂きました。

 

2014年8月1日（金）、2日（土）には、東京都、杉並区、杉並区教育委員会、岩手県、岩手県教育委員会、石川啄木記念館の後援、さらに、タニア・ピアソン・クラシカル・アカデミーからの協力で、東日本大震災の復興支援チャリティー公演、「東日本大震災復興 バレエライブ "Rising Sun"」を開催いたしました。

多くの方々にご来場を賜りましたこと、厚く御礼申し上げます。

開催にあたりまして、ご後援、ご協力、ご寄付や広告掲載でご支援を賜りました関係機関や個人の方々に、暖かい声援を頂きましたこと重ねて御礼申し上げます。

ダンサー、スタッフ全員がボランティアとして今回の公演を開催させていただきました。収益を出すにはおよびませんでしたが、当日会場にてお願い申し上げた募金は、岩手県釜石市釜石ふるさと寄付金(釜石市民ホール)に義援金としてお送りさせていただきますことをここにご報告申し上げます。

 

プロジェクトLUCTは、今後も、芸術をとおした被災地支援活動を念頭に、活動を続けて参ります。また、世界に羽ばたくアーティストの支援も継続してさせていただきます。

Project LUCT (Let us cling together) , a non-profit organization, was founded on 17th September, 2012 aiming to support Japanese young people who are aiming to develop their active career in global dancing stages.

In addition the projects empowers people of the devastated area hit by Eastern Japan Earthquake and Tsunami in 2011 through the real power of art, specially music and ballet to make their future dream reality by overcoming the tough situation caused by the tragedy.

 

In July 2013, Project LUCT held a 6-days ballet summer seminar in Tokyo with a support from Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy in Australia.  Out of the 17 participants, 5 of them were victims of the disaster.  For students from the stricken areas, we waived seminar participation fee and provided them with accommodation.

 

The Project LUCT held the charity ballet performances in Tokyo on August 1 and 2, 2014. The performances were played by the ballet dancers who are actively playing in European ballet theaters as well as some artistic guests. This charity ballet performances aim to foster artistic development specially among young generation and the victims from the devastated areas of Eastern Japan Earthquake and Tsunami in 2011. The performances were supported by several local government in Japan including the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Iwate Prefecture, Suginami-ku (ward) of Tokyo, and Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy in Australia. One of the American famous composer, Ms. Augusta Read Thomas, former Mead Composer-in-Residence with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in the U.S. also supports the program. Ms. Thomas permits to use two of her musical composition, "Cathedral Waterfall" and "Tow Etude", in the Project LUCT original music piece based on a poem by Mr. Takuboku Ishikawa, one of the finest poets in Japan who was from the stricken area. The ballet performance is an endeavour to invite those who are from the stricken area free of charge, while asking all other audiences to attend the event as a charity. We unfortunately were not able to make profit from the events even though all dancers and staff played as volunteers, however, the donation from the audience during the events will be sent to a cultural and artistic group in Iwate Prefecture through government administration.  

The Project LUCT is a young organization and we are working towards further expanding the activity. Hoping for the devastated area a speedy recovery, our project will continue with a span of 20-30 years and longer.  Your continous support will be highly appreciated.
